Taylor Swift's share of total YouTube watch minutes peaked above 13 basis points (0.13%) for middle-aged cohorts in spring 2024, driven by the Tortured Poets release and concert momentum. Younger Germans (16–24) shifted attention away faster, while all cohorts under 55 collapsed to 2–4 basis points by Q1 2025.

Methodology

Monthly share of total YouTube watch minutes attributed to Taylor Swift content, calculated separately for each age group. Unweighted within-panel shares across 75 age-by-month cells; all cells contain at least 200 active panelists. Watchtime inferred from session timing and capped at 4 hours per row to exclude outliers.
