Datapods Insights is a free public library of consumer behavior statistics sourced from the Datapods panel. Over 50,000 opted-in participants across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland share their real spending, browsing, and media behavior, producing daily-updated insights across consumption, digital habits, and media.
How is the data collected?
Data is collected through a proprietary crawling procedure via the Datapods API interface, which observes real transactions and digital activity from consenting panel members. Bot accounts and inactive profiles are excluded through outlier correction before aggregation.
How often is the data updated?
Live statistics update daily, rolling statistics are re-validated on a 30-day cadence, and final statistics reflect closed reporting periods. Every data point carries a visible timestamp and freshness badge so you always know how current a given number is.
Is the data free to use?
Yes. All statistics in the public Insights library are free to view, share, and cite with attribution. For brand-specific cuts, competitor benchmarks, and granular audience filters across 12,000+ brands, our Enterprise product offers deeper access.
