Analysis

YouTube consumption in Germany exhibits a steep age gradient. Younger users dominate viewing intensity: 16–24 year-olds lead at 203 minutes per active week, followed by 25–34 year-olds at 187 minutes. Consumption drops sharply at midlife, halving from 141 minutes (35–44 group) to 83 minutes (45–54 group). Older viewers (55–64 and 65+) average just 53–59 minutes per week, creating a near-fourfold divide between the youngest and oldest segments.
